On the far side of Windsor Castle, heading away from the town, there is a section of Windsor Great Park, called The Long Walk. it’s a straight path leading from the castle to a monument over two and half miles away. We only walked about half of it before turning back.
It’s a beautiful spot – it’s just a shame that the path is now bissected by the ring road.
