The First Nation people of the Pacific Northwest used to build giant men out of piles of rocks, to indicate to travellers where they could find food and shelter. These are called Inukshuk, and there is now a tradition for travellers to build their own versions in certain places along the tourist trail. We found a rocky beach full of them at Athabasca Falls, and so took the time to add our own to the collection.
