The humans and I have just got back from a great holiday in California. I’ve been with one of them before to visit her friend over there but it was the first time for the other one. Unfortunately they forgot to take any photos of the people they went to see, their lovely house or the 8am schlep up and down Echo Mountain (d’oh!).
Also, one of them managed to do this to himself at the very bottom of the way back down.
Silly boy. At least it wasn’t on the way up.
After leaving Pasadena we went to stay in 29 Palms which is right on the edge of Joshua Tree National Park. We stayed in the B&B one of of the humans had been to before with her local friend.
It’s so nice there.
Natives are friendly.
Well, most of them anyway.
I’ve been to the park before but it was great to go back again. It’s an amazing testament to Minerva Hoyt.
Most of the park either looks like this or is full of Joshua Trees. It’s so pretty.
Extreme close-up! I’ve been to Skull Rock before but it was lovely to go back.
I’m also available for catwalk events.
This looks like a UFO landing track but it’s actually a vein of metal through the rock.

Just outside the park is Pioneer Town where some TV and film westerns have been shot.
