Last weekend, the human and I joined some of her friends at the Download rock festival in Donington Park.
This little plot was home sweet home for a few days:
We’d bought posh tickets, so we were allowed access to a special area just for posh people:
It had a bar with a rather ambivalent name:
This is what the main stage area looked like early on Sunday, before most people had emerged from their tents:
Sunday was by far the wettest day we had (the rain had threatened the day before so the crew drove round the campsites handing out free rain ponchos) but it wasn’t nearly as bad as this photo makes it look!

This was the best place we found to eat – brown rice, mussaman curry, kale, carrots and halloumi – scrumptious! Admittedly, it was the first place we found to eat and we just kept going back. so there could have been other awesome stuff elsewhere.
And this is what the main stage area looked like on Saturday night during the Linkin Park gig. You may notice I’m not in the picture – this is because the human left me in the car…
It was a great weekend, though!
