The last stop on our trip was Vevey, which turned out to be my favourite of the three towns. We started off by getting the boat across the lake from Lausanne. It was a bit cold and wet, but still a lot of fun, with great views.
We passed load of really massive houses built up the hillside, seen from the boat. But even the less impressive terraced houses have an amazing view of the misty mountains:
We found a very pretty Russian Orthodox church on our wanderings, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to go in:
Down by the lake, we came across this awesome sunken ship playground, our favourite of the many play areas we saw in Switzerland:
We walked all the way down the canal to where it met the lake, on the “Pont de L’Europe”, which had pretty flower boxes all along its length:
Even prettier were the rose bowers over the benches along the lake shore:
There were some interesting statues to see in Vevey – women riding seahorses:

My favourite place we visited on the whole trip was the Chateau La Tour-de-Peilz, which looked suitable medi-eval from the outside, and housed the Swiss Museum of Games:
One of the humans took me up to the top of the tower, where there was quite the view:
