The ‘carving’ turned out to be rather more filing – and both much easier and much more fun than we expected, though it did make rather a mess:
And, after sanding (twice), heating up the stone and then waxing it all over, we ended up with an amazing new bear friend!
It only took about 90 minutes and it was a really enjoyable activity – plus, I think the end result is pretty snazzy!
