The humans and I took a long weekend trip to Wales recently, as suggested by one of their friends. We started our trip in Tenby, which had a nice station:
It also had tons of lovely flowers around the walls:
And a great view from the top of the cliffs:
More than one, in fact:
Our Airbnb was called The Hoot – I wonder why…?
Our second day trip was to Pembroke, which had an impressive castle:
First, though, we stopped off for lunch – I think ‘black pudding’ and ‘salad’ ought to be mutually exclusive…
Inside the castle was just as impressive as outside:
On our last day, we went to Caerphilly, which had a festival with jousting (though not as much cheese as we’d anticipated):
And also a statue of Tommy Cooper…
All in all, it was an excellent trip – thanks for organising it, Derek!
