Apocalypse 7, originally uploaded by Aloysius_Flyte. We passed this fenced-in, windowless building, which I thought must be where they were keeping the human subjects for whatever experiments were going on at “The Laboratory” – but my human said I was just being silly.

I imagined we would come out of the woods to discover there’d been a nuclear attack and only Leicester had survived. Or something…

Apocalypse 9, originally uploaded by Aloysius_Flyte. Then we passed something that sent shivers down my spine. This was clearly something constructed by a tribal society of feral teenagers, its purpose to warn trespassers away from their territory.

Apocalypse 10, originally uploaded by Aloysius_Flyte. Eventually, we emerged onto the apparent normality of Muswell Hill Road, but I still didn’t feel safe. I kept a wary eye out for anyone exhibiting a peculiar shambling gait, or sporting a glowing crystal on the back of their neck.
